Rory Gevis is a painter and artist living in nyc. She started painting at a very young age and has never stopped. Her greatest passion is the portraiture of people and pets, telling their stories and letting the imagination wander.

Rory is also inspired by interior decoration, a chair, a fabric, a paint color can tell so much. Her clients are from the storied worlds of fashion, publishing and entertainment, and reside everywhere from Singapore to Hollywood to Chelsea London and Chelsea Manhattan.

When she¹s not painting, Rory is the executive director of creative at Mac cosmetics, where she works on creative concepts for visuals, packaging and special events.  Her work has been featured in Barneys NY Madison Avenue windows, the New York Times, and Domino magazine.
